Course Description

If you're a professional who presents to or teaches remote audiences over a live video meeting tool like Zoom or GoToMeeting, this course is for you.

Nothing kills a presenter's credibility, frustrates attendees, and buries the message faster than a presenter who is hard to see, hard to hear, or who is struggling with the basic technology.

This course will help you avoid all of those issues. If you implement the practical guidance in this course, your content and presentation skills will be able to shine through the screen and impact everyone in your virtual meeting.

You'll learn these solid basics:

  • lighting
  • camera position
  • microphone type and placement
  • backgrounds
  • Internet connection

This course includes about 2 hours of materials, and then you'll be prepared to schedule your assessment to get the Certified Virtual Presenter -- or CVP -- badge. The badge lets attendees, employers and potential clients know that they won't have to worry about bad lighting, audio, or technical problems for you. The link to schedule your assessment is displayed at the end of the course.
